Couple arrested for child neglect after putting child on flight without guardian, police say

Two women are in a Broward County jail after investigators say they put their child on a return flight to FLL from Jamaica without a guardian. The couple lied on paperwork, claiming that a family member would pick the child up upon arrival, but their flights didn't arrive until 6 hours later. The women denied knowing the child required supervision.
