South Florida school districts release their new menu ahead of back to school

South Florida students are set to begin school soon, and in anticipation, Miami-Dade, Broward, and Monroe counties have released their menus for both breakfast and lunch for the month of August. Every district, however, starts on a different date, so here's when back to school is, depending on your county, and what kids could expect to eat. Miami-Dade Public Schools The first day of school in Miami-Dade County Public Schools is on Thursday, Aug. 13. Menus in the school district are separated by elementary, middle, and high schools, meaning all elementary schools have the same menu, as do all middle schools and all high schools in the district.
